Bike-In TC Presents Independence Day Friday, July 3 at Bryant Park

TRAVERSE CITY, Michigan – June 15, 2015 – Bike-In TC’s “Movies in the Park” Summer Film Series continues Friday, July 3 with a FREE outdoor screening of Independence Day at Bryant Park in Traverse City.

When a fleet of gigantic spacecraft, piloted by a mysterious alien species, burst through the Earth’s atmosphere and begin to destroy major metropolitan areas across the globe, it’s up to Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum and a ragtag group of survivors to take back what’s left of the planet.

Grab your bike, grab your friends, and pedal your way to Bryant Park to see how the drama unfolds on Bike-In TC’s outdoor screen. No bike? No worries! All are welcome regardless of transportation. We’ll have our beach volleyball net set up in the sand, so come early and enjoy the beautiful setting. After the sunset over West Bay, we’ll have trivia at 9:30 followed by the film. A portable chair or blanket is suggested for comfort.

Admission to all Movies in the Park events is FREE, thanks to the generosity of our series presenting sponsor, Short’s Brewing Company, and contributing sponsors Einstein Cycle, Dr. Tracy Ruegsegger Family Dentistry, and Norte Youth Cycling. Donations in support of Movies in the Park and future Bike-In TC films are accepted and appreciated.
